Timberland and Jacquemus are continuing their collaboration with a new interpretation of the Authentic Boat Shoe. Rendered in “Lagoon Blue,” the silhouette merges the classic appeal of Timberland with a color inspired by Art Deco architecture, the 1980s Memphis movement, and seaside summers.
Design and Construction Details
This new collaborative piece retains the characteristic lines of the Authentic Boat Shoe while adopting an almost entirely monochrome construction. The Lagoon Blue covers the upper, the laces, and the Timberland logo, leaving the materials and metallic details to primarily structure the silhouette.
The shoe's upper is crafted from Premium Timberland leather and features a leather lining. It rests on a durable rubber midsole and a treaded rubber outsole. The main contrasting elements are provided by silver eyelets and personalized metal tips.
The Significance of Lagoon Blue
The color itself represents Jacquemus’ most visible intervention. This shade, already featured in the brand's Spring-Summer 2027 collection, Le Bonheur, translates summery and graphic references selected for this second collaboration with Timberland onto the shoe.
Jacquemus does not radically transform the Authentic Boat Shoe; Lagoon Blue and a few metallic details are enough to give it an entirely new presence.
