For 2026, Nike reintroduces this asymmetrical principle and adds a major underfoot evolution: the Big Bubble construction.
The Art of Blending
The concept behind "Greedy" is fundamentally about blending. A single Air Max 95 features bright Mandarin, Grape, Solar Red, and Neon. These colors are not placed uniformly; rather, accents are distributed differently across the two shoes. Tongue tabs, lace loops, branding elements, and even the Air units all contribute to this deliberately mismatched build.
The upper itself retains the characteristic layered panels of the Air Max 95, utilizing a mix of mesh and synthetic materials. While shades of grey and white dominate the sides, various pops of color appear on different elements unique to each shoe.
Evolution from 2015 to 2026
"Greedy" has a history tied directly to its initial debut. The first version appeared in 2015 to celebrate the Air Max 95's 20th anniversary. While the upcoming 2026 edition remains very close to the original color blocking principle, it incorporates a significant technological upgrade: the larger visible Air units found within the Big Bubble construction.
This incorporation of the Big Bubble structure marks the main difference from the initial 2015 version. By adopting this new design element, Nike successfully preserves the core principle that gave "Greedy" its name while updating it for the current generation of the Air Max 95.
